Paid Membership – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to the paid membership offered by Wake Up, Rise Up – LIVE4Peace (WURU) through www.wakeupriseuplive4peace.com.
By purchasing or using a paid membership, you agree to the following terms.
1. Membership Fee
Paid membership is currently offered at:
£5 GBP per year, or
approximately $6.40 USD per year.
The US dollar amount is approximate. Currency conversion rates, payment-provider charges and other applicable fees may cause the final amount to vary.
Membership benefits apply for the duration of an active paid membership.
2. Website Access
Paid members receive access to website content, pages, resources and features designated as available to paid members.
Certain services, products, events or third-party services may be excluded and may require separate payment or registration.
3. Members-Only Apps & Features
Active paid members may receive access to members-only apps, tools, content and special features made available by WURU.
The availability and functionality of individual apps or features may change as the website develops.
4. 10% Store Vouchers
Active paid members are eligible to receive 10% discount vouchers for eligible items sold through the WURU store.
The following conditions apply:
A maximum of 4 × 10% vouchers may be issued per membership year.
Vouchers are normally issued once every three months.
Each voucher may be used once only.
Only one membership voucher may be used per transaction or sale.
Vouchers cannot be combined with another membership voucher.
The 10% discount applies only to eligible products offered through the WURU store.
Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Vouchers may not be sold, transferred or reproduced without permission.
A voucher must be valid at the time the order is placed.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, postage, delivery charges, taxes and other additional charges are not discounted.
5. 50% Advertising & Sponsorship Discount
Active paid members may receive 50% off eligible advertising and sponsorship purchased directly through the WURU website.
The discount:
applies only while the purchaser has an active paid membership;
applies to qualifying advertising and sponsorship packages designated by WURU;
cannot normally be combined with another promotional discount or special offer;
has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash;
does not apply retrospectively to advertising or sponsorship already purchased;
is subject to advertising space, availability and approval;
does not guarantee any particular number of views, clicks, sales, enquiries, audience reach or other results.
WURU reserves the right to refuse advertising or sponsorship material that is unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, offensive, inappropriate, incompatible with our peace-focused mission, or otherwise unsuitable for publication on the website.
6. Membership Use
Membership is intended for the registered member and should not be shared, transferred, resold or used to obtain benefits on behalf of unrelated third parties.
Members are responsible for keeping their account and login information secure.
7. Membership Period & Renewal
Membership lasts for the period stated when purchased, normally 12 months.
Where automatic renewal is offered, the renewal terms and price should be displayed at the point of purchase. Where membership does not automatically renew, continued access after expiry will require a new membership payment.
8. Cancellation & Refunds
Any statutory cancellation or refund rights available to a customer under applicable consumer law are unaffected by these Terms & Conditions.
Where digital content, members-only services or other benefits are supplied immediately, additional rules concerning cancellation rights may apply depending on the customer's location and applicable consumer law.
9. Changes to Membership Benefits
WURU may occasionally modify, replace, add or discontinue individual membership features where reasonably necessary.
We will not deliberately advertise a membership benefit that we know is unavailable. Significant changes affecting existing paid memberships will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
10. Fair Use
Membership benefits, vouchers and discounts must be used fairly and in accordance with these terms.
WURU may suspend or withdraw benefits where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, voucher misuse, unauthorised account sharing or other serious abuse of the membership programme.
11. Store Products
Individual products may have their own terms concerning availability, production, delivery, returns or refunds.
Where an item is print-on-demand, production and delivery may take up to four weeks, where this is stated on the relevant product listing.
12. Availability
Website services, apps and other digital features may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, upgrades or circumstances outside WURU's reasonable control.
13. Promotional Information
Poster statements such as “£5 / $6.4 approximately,” “4 × 10% vouchers per year,” “members-only apps,” and “50% off advertising & sponsorship” are summaries of the membership offer and should be read together with these full Terms & Conditions.
If there is an obvious error in promotional material, WURU may correct it, subject to applicable consumer law and the rights of existing customers.
14. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the membership programme, website, services or applicable requirements.
Changes should not unfairly remove benefits already purchased for an existing membership period without appropriate notice or remedy where required by applicable law.
