J. Walker

"Hello.  My name's Joe, professionally known as Jayson Walker.   Why the name?   I was a radio DJ for Texas radio station KEGG in Hughes Springs, Texas USA, and this was my "DJ Handle" (J. Walker)

Growing up in the midwestern steel city of Gary Indiana, the same place Michael Jackson (we were the same age, btw, but I never met him) and the Jackson 5 came from.  Suffice it to say, I didn't love the place.  Too much crime, pollution and violence, so I moved to Texas with my parents soon after graduating H.S.   There, I attended a 2-year college and degree in electronic technology.  It was about that time that I began to write song lyrics, which came naturally to me, as I was a pretty good poet beginning around the age of 7.

Flash forward to the 2020s from the 1980s. I joined BMI and started seriously co-writing with talented composers.   In 2005, I wrote "In Your Eyes" with a young videogame music producer named Carsten Jessen, and have recently released "Heather Jane", composed and performed by country music artist Chris Coltraine of Nevada.  We're releasing an album soon, watch for it!  In 2022, I was recruited by Phase 5 Records as an A&R/ Promotions rep and continue to co-write songs of several music genres.  Nice to meet y'all!

Justin Olsen

Born in Helena, Montana in 1984. Lived in Montana, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico and Florida. My parents moved a lot when I was a kid. Mom is Doni Jean DiCamillo and is no longer with us. My Father is James Olsen Sr. I have one Brother, James Louis Olsen Jr. I have a wife and two kids. My wife is Jennifer Ranae Trujillo (Olsen), I have a 20-year-old son Justin Lee Olsen Jr. And a 16-year-old daughter Josselyn Chaela Olsen. I and my wife met her when I was 15 and she was 17. She got pregnant with my son when I was 17 and had him when I was 18. We got married on a whim in Dec. 2007 two days after Christmas and we've been together 23 years and counting. I've always loved music and dabbled in several things but never stuck to anything except rapping. I love writing and recording and brainstorming on melodies and just seeing what I can come up with. I've been in two different groups that did not work out and now I'm a solo artist and plan to stay that way. I'm open to collaborations of course but will never join another group. I just have always loved music and how you can use it to reach so many people and portray what you are feeling inside. I'm now a Christian rapper and promised myself I would never curse I'm my songs again and have stuck to that thus far and don't plan on breaking that. I do make songs about other stuff than just God but that's my main focus and still don't curse in those songs either. Long story short I just love music and how it makes me and others feel and the impact you can make with it. It's the best of all art forms I feel and am super grateful God blessed me with the passion and talent to be able to make music at all.
