Matthew Farner.
Matthew Farner, professionally known as Matty Ice 1990, is a songwriter and rapper from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania whose music is rooted in lived experience and hard-earned transformation.
Raised in an environment shaped by violence and trauma, Matty turned to the streets at a young age, using drugs and dealing as a way to cope with the weight of his reality. His journey eventually led to incarceration — where poetry became his first form of healing. Behind prison walls, he began writing to process pain, regret, and survival.
It was during rehab, after choosing sobriety, that Matty discovered his true calling. Music became more than expression — it became purpose.
Now clean and focused, Matty Ice 1990 uses his voice to tell unfiltered stories of trauma, addiction, prison, and resilience. His lyrics reflect growth, accountability, and the determination to inspire those still fighting their battles.
Through willingness, dedication, and persistence, Matty continues to rise — committed to changing the world one listener at a time.

York Line Dance!
We are delighted to have you join our dancing family and look forward to sharing fun, fitness, fellowship and friendship through line dancing.
To help new members become familiar with our organization, we would like to share a brief history of our group and introduce our leadership team.
York Line Dance was formed after Kimmie and Kompany stepped down and entrusted the class to Gwen Jones, who serves as the Group Leader and Community Event Contact Person and Leslie Owens, who serves as the Administrator. Together, they have continued to build and grow the program while maintaining a welcoming environment for everyone.
As the group expanded, additional instructors joined the team including Ms. Bert, Ms. Brenda, Ms. Cecelia and Ms. Quaya. Their dedication, talent and willingness to share their love of dance have contributed greatly to the success of York Line Dance.
The name York Line Dance was affectionately established by Pastor Joel Folkemer, who has graciously allowed the group to utilize his church facility at no cost. We are truly grateful for his generosity, support and commitment to providing a place where our community can gather, learn and enjoy line dancing together.
For the benefit of new members, the leadership structure of York Line Dance is as follows:
• Gwen Jones – Group Leader and Community Event Contract Person
• Leslie Owens – Administrator
• Bertha Palmer – Instructor
• Brenda Washington – Instructor
• Cecelia Harris – Instructor
• Quaya Dowling – Instructor
York Line Dance is a team effort and we appreciate the contributions of every instructor, volunteer and member. We are committed to creating a positive, respectful and inclusive environment where everyone can learn, have fun and enjoy the many benefits of line dancing.
